E-chx Partners with IIABNY
Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York, Inc. Partners With E-chx, Inc.
New member service aims to help agents and brokers strategically align with an “insurance friendly” payroll partner
(DeWitt, New York, December 8, 2009) — The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York, Inc. have partnered with E-chx, Inc. Payroll Solutions to introduce its members to a high quality national payroll processing company that chooses to align with independent agents and brokers, not compete with them.
“IIABNY members continue to face additional competition every day from direct writers and national payroll companies who routinely espouse that the agent does not add value to the insurance transaction,” says Lisa Lounsbury, IAAC president and IIABNY senior vice president. “This relationship with E-chx will give IIABNY members a new tool and resource to level the playing field and maintain their book of business.”
As part of the exclusive relationship, E-chx will offer IIABNY members discounts on their payroll processing fees as well as for their referred clients, and inclusion in a revenue sharing program. In addition, IIABNY will introduce an integrated workers compensation solution shortly. “IIABNY members continue to serve the insurance buying community incredibly well and this opportunity to provide additional cost saving options to their commercial clients will further solidify their relationships with them,” Lounsbury adds.
E-chx, Inc., a payroll outsourcing company with nationwide coverage, provides businesses with efficient, time saving payroll solutions. This includes phone, fax, e-mail or Web-based payroll input options; real-time Internet payroll reporting; free workers’ compensation insurance audit reports; complete payroll tax preparation and administration; direct deposit; specific Web-based reports for CPAs and customized employee home pages that allow access to pay history and W-2s.
“IIABNY’s payroll staff has saved a great deal of time using E-chx, so we know that our members will benefit from this quick and easy program as well,” said IIABNY Assistant Vice President of Finance Regina Wright.
“We are extremely excited to partner with IIABNY and look forward to developing a mutually beneficial relationship. This will not only help E-chx gain market share, but allow agents and brokers the ability to further secure their relationships with their client base, “ said E-chx Vice President of Sales Paul Rosen.
